Ziplining in the Hills!

  • Rushmore Tramway Adventures 203 Cemetery Road Keystone, SD, 57751 United States (map)

Travel through the lush landscapes of the Black Hills surrounding Mt. Rushmore on this ultimate outdoor adventure tour.  Push yourself beyond your limits as you embark on a two-hour journey of nature and ziplines. Spanning over a mile of forest, experience 5 side-by-side dueling ziplines reaching heights of up to 400 feet.

After a safety and equipment demonstration, professional guides will be with you every step of the way as you experience the Black Hills from the air. They’ll uncover South Dakota’s rich history and keep you laughing along the way. You can see the Mount Rushmore National Memorial on almost every zipline.

Wear shoes with a fully-enclosed toe and heel, like an athletic or hiking shoe, and comfortable clothing. You will be outside so please bring sunscreen and water.

The zipline tour operates rain or shine so bring rain gear, a towel and an extra change of clothing should rain be forecasted the day of the event

Participants must be age 7 or older and at least 48” tall.  A legal guardian will need to sign to allow kids under 18 to zip.

You must weigh between 50 and 285 pounds, be free of chronic heart problems, not be pregnant, and have not undergone recent surgery; especially on ankles, knees, or back.  You must be able to hike a half mile over uneven surfaces at elevation.

This is a great opportunity to experience a zipline adventure at a discounted price.  OWSD is making this event available for $50 per person.  Pricing is the same for adults and children.  Each zipline tour has a maximum of 10 people.  If we have more than 10 participants, we will reserve spots either at Noon or 2pm on the same day.

OWSD Members should go to the Outdoor Women of South Dakota Members Only Facebook page for contact info to secure your spot on the tour.  Non-members can email for more information on how to participate in this event.
