Project WET

A basic 6 hour Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) will be held on Monday, July 11 at 9:00 AM at the SD Discovery Center in Pierre. Project WET is an internationally recognized water education program which equips teachers, youth workers and agency staff to deliver meaningful water learning through hands-on activities. The resource book is available ONLY through an accredited Project WET workshop.

An optional field session featuring a kayak trip from the Oahe Dam to Pierre is also offered. No kayaking experience is necessary. There is no cost to the workshop - the field session is $5.
