Outdoor cooking is more than just a hotdog on a stick. Experience the different types of cooking in the outdoors and impress your family and friends with your new culinary skills! Try your hand at Dutch oven cooking, garbage can delights, box ovens and more. This will be a five course progressive meal utilizing different methods of outdoor cooking. Recipes will be provided so the adventure can be recreated at home. Come hungry and leave two sizes bigger.
The event will be held at the home of Cheryl Pruett overlooking the majestic Missouri River. Part of this event will be held outdoors so come dressed appropriately. There is no cost for this event but you must preregister to attend. If you wish to bring containers to take food home that is welcome. 
Please RSVP to Kim at by Saturday 3/23/19 so we assure we have enough food. Kim Kock will provide Cheryl’s address/directions at the time when you register.
Some ladies may be interested in staying overnight and cabins may be rented at the Snake creek campground just a few miles from this advent. If interested please contact the GF&P website to rent your cabin.
“ COME EARLY - STAY LATE” . There are also motels in Platte if you wish to stay overnight. Cheryl also offered up her yard if anyone wishes to pitch a tent. If you are interested in adventuring on your own before or after the OWDS event, bring good hiking boots. This however will not be part of the event.
