Sheridan Lake. Meet at the parking lot on Hwy 385.

Laurie Root, Naturalist with Game, Fish & Parks, will cover the basics of ice fishing. The purpose is to provide an informal, non-competitive setting in which to learn outdoor skills, meet others with like interests, and to just have a fun afternoon in the beautiful Black Hills. Laurie will talk about fishing rods, different baits and lures, using an ice auger, and safety. We will have plenty of time for fishing. Fishing gear will be provided. If you have your own, please bring it along. To make sure there is enough equipment for everyone, contact Laurie at 721-9545 if you plan to attend.
